Why Cre8?
The Freedom of Making
Forget about all those times in class when you're forced to work on a given project (and on top of that you have a deadline)! This is the place where you can get messy, experiment, and make what you want. Think about it-- when was the last time you could truly lie back and relax, letting your mind run freely? In this club you will have the rare opportunity for fun, self-guided creative exploration through hands-on STEM.

Making Can Change the World
Innovation is a powerful tool that can affect change in our society. Cars, smartphones, microwaves, and anything else that pertains to our lifestyle was created by Makers. And while these technologies have significantly impacted our day-to-day lives, there are still countless problems that need to be addressed and solved. Climate change, for example, can be significantly reduced with new energy- efficient products. Certain health issues can someday be remedied with new biotechnologies. The list goes on. Join Cre8, and you already have the power in your hands for societal change. |
Empowerment
Currently, only 18-20% of American engineering students are women. That being said, it's time for more women to make a mark in this field. Take advantage of one of the most empowering Making communities there is to offer.
